We worked closely with polling data and voter feedback to understand the challenges Bloomberg faced within the Jewish community. Although Bloomberg had a strong record, he wasn’t viewed as ‘in the community,’ something that’s important to close-knit Jewish communities when selecting government officials. Our solution was to reposition Bloomberg as someone relatable and fully engaged with the community. We conducted coordinated photo shoots in Jewish neighborhoods, involving local families and creating visuals that would speak directly to cultural values.
These images were used in a wide range of campaign materials, from direct mailers to door hangers and palm cards, all part of a targeted GOTV (Get Out the Vote) campaign. This multifaceted campaign helped make Mike Bloomberg more relatable to the very voters he was relying on.
